Description:
Hazel Crest School District 152.5 is seeking an indivual to serve as the principal of an elementary PreK - 8th grade school.
Job Summary:
Principal is responsible for providing the necessary leadership and supervision to meet the learning and developmental needs of the children served by the school. This includes providing a safe, healthy environment for students to learn and teachers to teach and involving staff members, students, and parents in the workings of the school through good public and human relations.
Qualifications:
Candidate must hold a State of Illinois PROFESSIONAL EDUCATOR LICENSE (PEL) with General Administrative endorsement. The candidate must also possess a proven record of dynamic educational leadership, including excellent interpersonal and communications skills with students, staff and parents; a strong background in K-8 education; experience in staff and program development; and an ability to work well in a community with high expectations for its students and schools.
